Yulia Skokova and Vladimir Benevolenski Took Part in International Summer School

On May 22-26 the summer school on theoretical and empirical research of the role of innovations in enhancing the sustainability of NGOs took place at HSE. The event was organized by the Center for Studies of Civil Society and the Nonprofit Sector in cooperation with Hertie School of Governance.

On May 22-26 the summer school on theoretical and empirical research of the role of innovations in enhancing the sustainability of NGOs took place at HSE. The event was organized by the Center for Studies of Civil Society and the Nonprofit Sector in cooperation with Hertie School of Governance.

The school programme included lectures for all participants, as well as seminars and workshops on selected topics. During seminars and workshops the participants clarified their research tasks, learned more about the process of research, and analyzed the results of finished projects.

Research Fellows of the Laboratory for Nonprofit Sector Studies at the Center for Studies of Civil Society and the Nonprofit Sector also took part in the school. Vladimir Benevolenski and Yulia Skokova presented the report on the instruments of state support of NGOs: a driver of social innovations or the mechanism of public control in Russia.
